Stafford, TX – December 19, 2008:  Compressor Products International (CPI), a manufacturer of precision engineered sealing components for reciprocating compressors, has opened a new service center in Coeburn, Virginia, U.S.A. The new service center will support CPI’s customer base on the east coast by providing reconditioning services for compressor valves and packing cases, pistons and rider rings. Don Thompson will be the service center manager for the new location.

Wizeman, Director of Sales - Americas for Compressor Products International. “ The Virginia service center is strategically located to better serve our growing customer base in the southeastern region. Don and his team will be able to respond more efficiently to our customers’ reciprocating compressor requirements.

Thompson has extensive experience in managing a facility and employees. Prior to joining CPI, Thompson ran his own organization for 10 years. He has also served as a lead production operator for a production company, Celotex, for 7 years.
