Stafford, Texas – October 15, 2008:  Compressor Products International (CPI) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Horizon Compressor Services, a business located in Houston, TX, which manufactures valves and reconditions compressor valves and components.

With this acquisition, Horizon Compressor Services’ products, which mainly serve the high-speed market, will be integrated in with CPI’s organization. Gary Whitted, owner of Horizon Compressor Services, will remain with the organization.
